Ultrasonic multi-feed sensor
The fi-5530C is loaded with an ultrasonic multi-feed sensor that detects whenever two or more sheets of paper have been simultaneously fed into the scanner, regardless of document weight, size or color.
Superior ADF digitizes both sides of scanned cards in a single pass.
A unique straight paper path automatic document feeder (ADF) simultaneously scans the fronts and backs of ID cards, point cards and other cards. The result is more flexible multi-document scannability. (The fi-5530C supports ISO 7810 card scannability, but cannot scan embossed cards.)
Duplex imprinter
The fi-5530C's optional imprinter (fi-553PR) is capable of printing dates and other information on documents after scanning; easing the search for original documents at a later date.
